For the Cordial: Place all the ingredients in a pan, heat until it reaches a simmer, mixing so the sugar melts. Next, turn off the heat and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Pour into an sterilised bottle, cap it and store in the fridge, where it will keep for up to a month.

For the Batch Mix: Combine all the spirits and syrup into a large bottle, let it rest for an hour, then pass it through , ideally through cheesecloth, so it's fully clarified.

To serve: Pour 85ml of your batch mix into a mixing glass containing ice, and stir carefully for about 60 seconds until cold. Pour into a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, top with a few cranberries adding the final touch using a light spray with the mandarin essence above the glass.
